For Parents and Families

At Ripple parents and families that are looking to deepen their knowledge and increase their ability to self regulate can contract for regular sessions. It may be to simply have a forum to discuss in greater depth how to utilize the information from the Parent Nights or it may be to process a unique situation or struggle. At times including siblings or other family members may help to increase a child’s felt sense of support. We are happy to plan a family experience wherein family’s goals for increased communication and connectedness can be met.

Upcoming Events

Every workshop is two 90-minute sessions, held on Tuesdays 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Registration is $200.00 per family.

The parent/guardian workshops cover recent advancements in our understanding of neurological development and brain function, and the implications for understanding and supporting children and youth. We discuss shifting our focus from ways of managing the child’s behaviour to assisting the child to better understand and self-regulate their own reactions to stress.
